    Objectives

    4 The organisation's activities are: (a) To construct and maintain a helipad on Arran for use by the Emergency Services, (b) To use the Arran Helipad for the transportation of the ill and infirm between the healthcare facilities on Arran and mainland UK, (c) To allow other appropriate craft to land at the Arran Helipad in the event of a non-health related emergency To fulfil these activities the Arran Helipad Group will: (i) Lease or own a suitable site on Arran for the operation of a helipad. (ii) Oversee the construction, operation and maintenance of the helipad and associated facilities. (iii) Raise and hold funds to enable the above activities to be carried out. This will fulfil the Group's charitable purposes: 1. The advancement of health, 2. The saving of lives
