    Objectives

    4 The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Leaderdale and Melrose also including Melrose Gate and Galashiels (the 'Community'), who want to participate in playing football with the following purposes: (a) To serve the community by contributing to the improvement of recreational, environmental, health and emotional opportunities to children, young people, adults and families by increasing participation in football - engendering a love of the game for all players. (b) The advancement of community participation in sport as players, coaches, officials, volunteers and supporters regardless of age, race, religion and gender. (c) To provide, develop, manage and promote recreational facilities and related recreational activities available to the whole community, improving the quality of life for all involved and providing opportunity. (d) To advance the education of young people, children and adults by providing opportunity to participate in the playing and teaching of community football, developing their mental and physical capabilities and so enable them to improve their quality of life. (e) The advancement of community development and relationships by operating a community based and run football club which makes a positive social impact in Melrose and across the whole of the Scottish Borders. (f) The promotion of any other charitable purpose which may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes and in furtherance thereof.
