    Objectives

    Purposes 1 The organisation's purposes are: a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Comrie and the local area (hereinafter called 'the neighbourhood') by: i. Giving guidance to organisations and community groups. ii. Associating the voluntary organisation, local authorities and the community in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure occupation of the community and to act as an advisory body in the provision of such facilities. iii. Making and encouraging provision to help and educate young people through their leisure time activities to develop their spiritual, mental and physical capacities to enable them to grow to full maturity as responsible individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved. iv. Fostering a community spirit for the achievement of these and such other purposes as may by law be deemed to be charitable. b) To acquire either by purchase or lease, property and/or equipment and to maintain and manage, or to co-operate with any local statutory authority or authorities in the maintenance and management of such property for activities promoted by the Organisation in the furtherance of the objects above. In furtherance of these objects: c) The Organisation shall be non-discriminatory in politics and religion. d) The Organisation and its constituent bodies shall have power to affiliate to National Associations and other organisations whose objects shall not be inconsistent with these set out above.
