    2 The objects of the society shall be to carry on business for the benefit of the community at large, through furthering, within the villages of Lochranza, Catacol and Pirnmill comprising the following postcodes ( KA278GD, KA278HH, KA278HJ, KA278HL, KA278HN, KA278HP, KA278HQ, KA278JF) ('the Community'), the advancement of community development including rural regeneration by: 2.1 working for the benefit of the people of the Community to improve their quality of life while conserving and preserving the character and natural beauty of the Community in such a manner that the needs and aspirations of the local population are acknowledged and respected. 2.2 providing appropriate housing, education, employment and recreation with the object of improving the conditions of life in the Community. 2.3 taking forward other projects that the Community approve. But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
