    Objectives

    4 The organisation's purposes are: The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, The prevention or relief of poverty, The advancement of education, The advancement of the arts, culture, heritage or science for African and ethnic minority women in Edinburgh. 4.1 To promote confidence building and resilience skills for African and ethnic minority women in Edinburgh Scotland by providing trainings and workshops that promote positive mindsets and positive mental attitude 4.2 To promote employability by providing employability skills - Work-Readiness, Digital & social media Skills, Creative skills, CV Writing, Interview Skills, Ms Office Skills, for ethnic minority women from the BAME community in Edinburgh Scotland who are experiencing barriers to employment in the advancement of education. 4.3 To reduce the stigma attached to mental health issues for the BAME community in Edinburgh Scotland by promoting positive mental health, well-being and providing relief to children/young people and women within the BAME community in Edinburgh through a variety of activities that will bring them together to support their mental well-being & equip them with the skills to reach their potential. 4.5 The prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship for marginalised and deprived communities in Edinburgh Scotland by providing items and services to individuals and families in need and assisting BAME Families in the provision of education, training, projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient 4.6 To promote equality and diversity through antiracism trainings and workshops, social media campaigns and human rights training towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, knowledge, and mutual understanding between different racial groups. 4.7 To raise awareness of and encourage participation of the production of creative programmes about mental health and other wellbeing issues affecting the black community in Edinburgh Scotland. 4.8 To promote inclusion by working to reduce loneliness and social isolation by providing activities that connects people across nationalities and bringing families together to foster the development of closer, supportive, age-appropriate relationships mainly within the black community in Edinburgh.
