Objectives

7.1 the Company has been formed to benefit the community of Denny ('the Community') with the Purposes listed in the sub-articles hereto ('the Objects'), namely: 7.1.1 advancement of community development through the delivery of a volunteering programme which seeks to offer personal development of local people to unlock potential, encourage physical activity, volunteering, participation in sport, and promote healthy living as well as supporting small local businesses and charities in the local area. 7.1.2 advancement of the public participation in sport by: 7.1.2.1 to advance, promote and encourage community participation in sporting activities, in particular, the sport of football. 7.1.2.2 promoting social inclusion for those who are excluded from participating in sport & physical activity due to their social & economic circumstances, encouraging participation on an equal and inclusive basis, thereby reaching those less likely to engage. 7.1.2.3 offering activities designed to build confidence in ability, skill & physical fitness that are well structured, organised and encourage maximum participation, whilst introducing the participants to sports and physical activity in their lives. 7.1.3 To promote the advancement of mental health and relief of adults through providing access to information, peer support groups, therapies and other relevant opportunities that will allow adults that are affected by mental health illness to develop coping strategies, feel comfortable talking about mental health and live fulfilled lives. 7.1.4 the relief of those in need by addressing the consequences of obesity through the provision of recreational activities that promote well-being and social interaction.
