    Objectives

    4.1 To provide comprehensive sign-posting to services, advice and information for families and carers of children with additional support needs through working in partnership with other relevant agencies and organisations. 4.2. To work with sports, leisure, arts and other social clubs and associations to support them to become more inclusive and ASN friendly, in addition to developing and delivering a range of inclusive out of school activities. 4.3 To raise awareness and understanding of additional support needs within the wider Orkney community through events, activities, the media and social media that focus on the potential and abilities of children with ASN. 4.4 To work collaboratively with statutory and voluntary organisations to share ideas, resources and plans in order to create and improve integrated approaches and services for the benefit of all children. 4.5 To work towards the development of a physical space which can provide play space, self-help and socialising for children with ASN, their friends, families and carers.
