    a) the advancement of education and community development through promoting and delivering educational and language learning activities: through initiating and delivering educational activities and language learning programs. delivering mentoring initiatives, exhibitions and cultural heritage festivals, inspiring and promoting integration for the oversea students in Scotland by facilitating responsive platforms for their educational, social, cultural, economic and democratic participation initiatives. b) b) To advance citizenship through the development and teaching of civic values. the promotion or protection of the rights of the citizen. the encouragement of voluntary activity and increasing the involvement of individuals in community activity: enhancing active citizenship and the contribution of the diverse communities including overseas students across Glasgow through promoting equality & diversity, active citizenship and assisting in removing barriers (e.g. language, isolation and exclusion) of the diverse ethnic and cultural minorities communities including overseas students. This will be done through empowering an active role locally and nationally building direct links with local diverse communities and policy makers. addressing areas of support in relation to education and language training, cultural heritage, health, and overall welfare of these communities. c) To advance equality for and among diverse communities through celebrating cultural diversity and cultural heritage as a route to advancing equal citizenship and strengthening bonds among all community constituents promoting equal opportunities and community cohesion. d) The provision/organization of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
