    Objectives

    3.1 The Charitable Purposes of the SCIO (the 'Charitable Purposes') are the advancement of environmental protection and improvement throughout Dumfries and Galloway and such other areas as the Trustees in their sole discretion may determine. 3.2 In furtherance of the Charitable Purposes the SCIO will undertake the following activities (the 'Activities'). 3.2.1 seek to conserve, protect, restore, renew or rewild natural environments, wildlife and habitats, and assist others to do so. 3.2.2 provide advice and raise awareness on nature conservation, land use, ecology, climate and carbon. 3.2.3 work with communities, other organisations and the public in relation to nature conservation and environmental protection. and 3.2.4 any other activities that support the Charitable Purposes.
