In furtherance of these purposes the organisation will: 4.1 Promote, encourage and foster interest and participation in track and field athletics and provide recreational and social activities 4.2 Give members the opportunity of learning the basic skills and techniques of track and field athletics 4.3 Provide members with a means by which they access and record their own performances in track and field athletics 4.4 Organise present and involve parents and others in the organisation and presentation of track and field events in athletic meetings
