    Objectives

    5.1 The advancement of community development and in furtherance of the above purpose, we will carry out the following activities: 5.1.1 Fostering community spirit through achievement of these and other such objectives as may be deemed to be charitable and for the benefit of the community resident in the neighbouring districts. 5.1.2 Providing, maintaining and managing facilities which can be used for recreational, heritage and cultural pursuits in order to improve the wellbeing of the Community and visitors to the area 5.1.3 Supporting local people to identify and articulate their needs and act to address those needs. 5.2 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and only in relation to recreational facilities or activities which are available to members of the public at large. In furtherance of the above purpose, we will carry out the following activities: 5.2.1 Promoting community spirit within Wiston and the surrounding area. 5.2.2 Delivering community based events in support of the aforementioned objectives. 5.2.3 providing access to both the public and groups/clubs with the opportunity to book the facilities for the purposes of taking part and/or providing classes/activities to a wide area of the community thus offering participation in sports from entry level through to advanced, initially requiring little or no levels of fitness. 5.3 The advancement of education of the Community about its environment, culture, heritage and history to include the delivery of historical exhibitions and presentations in order to increase knowledge about the village and its role historically in the area.
