    Objectives

    (a) The advancement of the Christian faith by the work and witness of an Evangelical Church in East Kilbride to be known as ?Westwoodhill Evangelical Church SCIO? achieved through our Sunday Services (morning and evening) which offer opportunities to both church and community members to listen to Bible Teaching delivered in a manner relevant to the culture of today, but founded solidly from the Bible, while children, youth and young adults are also catered for within their appropriate Activity Groups, and, also mid-week House Groups for Bible study, discussion and fellowship. (b) The advancement of education in East Kilbride by employing a full-time Schools Resource Worker, who provides material and in-school teaching to local primary schools within their 'Curriculum of Excellence' religious content requirements, and, also on occasions running deaf signing language classes for both church and community members. and (c) The prevention or relief of poverty in East Kilbride by collecting food donations and providing teams of workers to make up the food parcels for EK Foodbank on a weekly basis, and, also by regular charitable donations to relief agencies who operate globally.
