    3.1 The charitable purposes of the SCIO ('the Charitable Purposes') are: 1.1.1 to provide relief to those in need by reason of ill health or disability by: 1.1.1.1 increasing awareness of certain aggressive types of Kidney Cancer. 1.1.1.2 encouraging donations, volunteering and fundraising activities and providing a link between those who are able and wish to help with those who are most in need. 1.1.1.3 providing practical and emotional support to Kidney Cancer patients and their families. 1.1.2 the advancement of education and preserve and protect the good health of the public, professionals, front line staff and campaigning for families, by (but not limited to) promoting the understanding of Kidney Cancer, the six signs, early detection and treatment.
