    The Arbroath 2020 Group was established to create cultural events and festivals inspired by the historical narrative that exists around one of Scotland's most important documents. the Declaration of Arbroath. 4.1 To advance, citizenship and community development through the delivery of a cultural programme, that includes a strong place making and creative learning strategy which maximises the involvement of a diverse local audience. 4.2 To advance the role that heritage and culture can have in bringing communities together through culture and creativity. We will devise and deliver an ambitious programme of cultural and creative activity, in such a way that will involve local people and attract and engage the imagination of local, national and an international audiences.
