    The organisation's purposes are: to advance education through the support of training programmes, including, but not limited to, programmes aimed at enabling unemployed individuals to learn new skills and gain confidence to enter further education and/or employment. to advance citizenship or community development through the provision of resources, including but not limited to, office equipment and community development programmes for the benefit of local communities across Scotland. to advance public participation in sport through the provision of specific sports equipment and sports halls and supporting training programmes aimed at encouraging active involvement in sports. to advance equality and diversity by providing tangible support and equipment, along with funding to community projects and charitable organisations, to raise awareness of the benefits of diversity in communities and workplaces by supporting community projects financially, and working with organisations across the country by initiatives such as creating platforms for them to promote their own inclusiveness at a range of events. and to relieve those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through the provision of specialised equipment, transportation and/or specialised training and support for families, carers and community groups.
