Objectives

2. The Alliance's objects are to foster unity and cooperation among Muslims and society at large. (a) To organise a committed project to educate, build and strengthen links between the different Schools of Thoughts within Islam and intra-faith forums. (b) To provide a place of gathering for lectures and public meetings for the following purposes: religious, cultural and education, to promote religious and racial harmony, equality and diversity. With emphasis on these being delivered in Multi lingual medium by commemorating events in respect of Islamic dates. (c) To provide support, practical assistance, counselling and education for the community of people who have converted and wish to convert to the religion of Islam (which includes Scottish Muslims), and the community of ?raised/traditional? Muslim Men, Women, youth and children. (d) To actively participate in Humanitarian projects. (e) To motivate and empower the Youth within the community to enable involvement in activities for their positive development. (f) Formation of a Women's group within the community to enable and empower them to play a leading role in achieving the objectives of the alliance. (g) To recognise the growing and changing needs of the communities children and to cater for them.
