The organisation's purposes are: Purposes 1.1 Purposes The Advancement of Health The Advancement of Education The Advancement of the Arts, Heritage, Culture or Science The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantages. a.1 Provide support to patients directly via our website, helpline, email and social media. This allows for the Charity to increase the advancement of health and education among Bronchiectasis patients. a.2. We will relieve the feeling of isolation felt by people with Bronchiectasis as we are available to offer help, advice and to inform patients of the latest clinical findings. This will help in offering relief to those with this disability. a.3. Fund research into medications and treatments specific to Bronchiectasis for the advancement of patients Health with the aim of increasing and improving the treatments available. a.4. Advance the education of the public and the medical profession through giving patients a voice. Strength in numbers is important to bring about change. a.5 .Fund the provision of medical equipment to patients not currently funded through the NHS a.6. Fund clinical research and trials into the effectiveness of new and alternative treatments to increase the knowledge of the Science behind the condition. a.7. Provide assurance to Bronchiectasis patients that on-going preventative care work is being done to improve Bronchiectasis treatments.
