(i) The advancement of public participation in sport by organising, promoting and running the annual Oldmeldrum Sports and Highland games. (ii) The advancement of education by provision of an annual grant from monies raised to Oldmeldrum Academy for them to use for educational purposes. (iii) The provision of recreational facilities by managing the pavilion at Oldmeldrum Park and making it accessible to local groups with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents for whom the facilities are primarily intended i.e. residents of Oldmeldrum and surrounding area.
