4 The organisation?s purposes are to advance public participation in sport and provide recreational facilities and activities with the object of improving life by: 4.1 Providing a platform for all local sports clubs and appropriate partners to work together for the benefit of developing sport for all sections of the community within the Thurso High School catchment area. 4.2 Promoting and ensuring the appropriate recognition of sport within the community. 4.3 Providing equal opportunities for successful participation in sport by all sections of the community. 4.4 Supporting the development of community based clubs, their coaches and volunteers. 4.5 Where appropriate supporting the development of quality training and playing facilities, equipment & storage for its members.
