The objectives ofBBEL shall be to promote the benefit of Outdoor Activities to persons aged 16 years and over living in East Lothian with disabilities and mental health issues, without distinction of gender, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by linking with local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance Outdoor Education and to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their health and conditions of life may be improved
