To provide advocacy services to patients of The State Hospital, Carstairs and such other people with mental health problems as the directors may deem appropriate. 2. To promote the interests of people with mental health problems, and particularly those who are accessing advocacy support. and 3. To develop, and (where considered appropriate by the directors) implement, new ways of providing support to people with mental health problems.
