    Objectives

    The band exists for the promotion of the study, practice and performance of music .The object of the band shall be: - 1. To foster the musical education of the members and to promote the amateur playing of musical instruments. 2. To provide or assist in providing special education or instruction in the playing of brass band instruments. 3. To encourage and foster interest in brass band music among members and the general public. 4. The band shall seek to raise awareness in the band of the needs of others and to raise money for local, national and international charities and organisations with charitable purposes.
