Objectives

The objects of the Society are to promote and facilitate the distribution of monies received as a consequence of the production and presentation of public performances of general musical works ('stage productions') to all or any purposes for the benefit of the community which are now or may hereafter be deemed by law to be charitable and, in particular, to promote and facilitate the distribution of all such monies referred to previously for the benefit of the recognised charitable body the Scottish Council for Spastics and/or any other recognised charitable body or bodies in Scotland (as defined under Section 505, Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988, or any statutory re-enactment or modification thereof, and section 1(7) of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1990).
