Objectives

The objects for which the Trust is established are: (i) to preserve for the benefit of the public at large - whatever of the architectural, historic and constructional heritage as may exist in Great Britain in the form of buildings of particular beauty or architectural, historic or constructional interest, or ancient monuments, and in particular the former Catholic Apostolic Church in Mansfield Place, Edinburgh (now known as Mansfield Place Church) - the artistic works of Phoebe Traquair, in particular her mural paintings situated in the said Mansfield Place Church. (ii) to promote and further the study of the said architectural, historic and constructional heritage, the said mural paintings, and generally Phoebe Traquair's artistic achievement, and to make the information obtained available to the general public.
