Courses will be delivered in a friendly and relaxed manner by an experienced Gaelic tutor and will follow (but not exclusively) the Speaking Our Language programme. We expect to involve students from across a wide age range. Students will be drawn from across the NW Sutherland area. Some will probably remember Gaelic being spoken at home when they were children. Others may have have had some exposure during their schooling and want to develop upon that. We hope to instill sufficient knowledge and confidence that our students will feel comfortable speaking Gaelic at home, amongst their friends, and out in the wider community.

The object for which the Association is established is the advancement, for the public benefit , of the education of young people and adults, primarily within the Achfary, Durness, Kinlochbervie and Scourie areas through. a) The establishment, maintenance and management of a community Training Centre b) The provision of open access to education and training facilities c) The provision of advice and guidance in various aspects pf further education and wider training requirements and interests within the Community.
