    Objectives

    The company is established for charitable purposes only, to benefit the community of Greater Pilton, and in particular the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty so that the conditions of life of the inhabitants may be improved. In furtherance thereof but not otherwise the Company shall seek to. a) Provide advice/information on welfare rights related issues such as welfare benefits and tax credits, debt, housing, education and health. b) Provide representation at appeal tribunals and the Sheriff Court on behalf of clients were appropriate. c) Provide training for local people, groups and organisations. d) Raise awareness of welfare rights entitlements among various demographic groups (i.e. older people, carers, disabled people, families) within Greater Pilton. e) To carry on any other activities which further any of these objects. f) To promote companies whose activities may further one or more of the above objects, or may generate income to support the activities of the company, acquire and hold shares in such companies and carry out, in relation to any such company which is a subsidiary of the company, all such functions as may be associated with a holding company.
