    Objectives

    The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income thereof to pay and apply for the same to or in furtherance the general purpose of advancing in any way the knowledge and treatment of diseases and ailments of the eyes and of the skin and in assisting the treatment of such diseases and ailments that in any and every way in their uncontrolled discretion shall from time to time think proper or feasible having regard to the state of scientific and medical knowledge and theory from time to time and particularly to assist the Hospices of the Order in the Middle East and the Clinic of the Church of Scotland in Gallilea (Tiberius). The Trustees present and future shall, alone or in co-operation with others, seek to improve the knowledge of causes and treatment of skin and eye diseases and in general support the work carried on in these areas particularly in the said hospices and clinic and that in any way that seems to the Trustees appropriate.
