    Objectives

    The objects of the Committee shall be charitable and particularly:- (a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Annan and District, by associating the local authority, voluntary organisations and inhabitants generally in a common effort to advance education, to provide meeting places and facilities for social and recreational activities and to foster a community spirit. (b) To co-operate with and advise Dumfries and Galloway Regional Council as Education Authority in the management of the project for activities promoted by the centre and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects.
