    Objectives

    The objects of the Society are: To research and verify the past history of Roslin and District. To conserve and improve the amenity of Roslin village and surrounding district. In pursuance of these objects:- (a) To acquire and preserve documentary, pictorial and artefact records of past history. (b) To maintain, liaison with other similar organisations interested in historical. activities and the preservation of our heritage. (c) To arrange meetings with displays, lectures, discussion and other relevant activities to promote and encourage interest in our history and heritage among' the local community. (d) To take such action as may be considered necessary to safeguard any part of our heritage as may be in danger of being lost or denied to the community.
