    Objectives

    Declaring that the foresaid legacies are personal to the beneficiaries and shall not descend to their children or heirs in the event of any legatee predeceasing me. The sum of Three hundred pounds to the General Fund of the Free Church of Scotland. The sum of Two hundred pounds to the Congregational Fund of the Free Church of Scotland, Maryburgh.... On the death of my wife I direct that the income on the said sum of Ten thousand pounds and other moveable estate of which she had the liferent, together with the proceeds of my heritable property at Strathpeffer, shall be payable to the Free Church Ministers at Maryburgh and Strathpeffer in trust for the purpose of being used by them for the aged poor of the Parish of Fodderty and that part of the Parish of Urray known as Ussie or Lochussie, and in the event of the said Ministers being unable to agree on any matter referable to the administration of this income, the same shall be referred to the Free Church Minister at Dingwall whose decision shall be final and binding.
