    The Organisation is a non-profit distributing charity whose principal objective is to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Auchtermuchty, Fife and its environs (herein referred to as the 'neighbourhood') without distinction, associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities, in the interest of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure-time occupation, available to the members of the public at large, so that their conditions of life may be improved.
