    Objectives

    The objects of the society shall be:- a) To present annually or at such periods as the Society might determine a historical pageant connected with the signing of the Declaration of Independence of Scotland at Arbroath Abbey in 1320 and of other historical events leading up to or taking place shortly after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. b) To promote or organise as events ancillary to and in conjunction with the historical Pageant processions, entertainments, displays, exhibitions and such other matters of a like nature as the Society in its discretion shall deem fit.
