    To provide its members with the opportunity to participate in the performance of choral music. To promote, develop and maintain public knowledge and appreciation of choral music by the presentation of public concerts of choral music. In pursuance of these objects to engage orchestras, instrumentalists, and soloists of every kind for such performances. To raise funds by such means as the Society, through its committee, shall from time to time determine.
