    Charitable Purposes of the SCIO ('the Charitable Purposes') are: 3.1.1 to stimulate interest in and care for the beauty, history, character, culture and environment of Tain and Easter Ross. 3.1.2 to encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features (both buildings and landscape) of general public amenity or historic interest in Tain and Easter Ross. and 3.1.3 to encourage high standards of architecture, town planning and design in Tain and Easter Ross.
