    Objects. The objects of the Society shall be to afford relief by way of grants and/or pensions to poor persons or persons in necessitous circumstances and especially to those in necessitous circumstances who have been in the service of the late Robert Dick and James Dick, Gutta Percha Boot and Shoe and Belt Manufacturers, Greenhead, or who may be or who may have been in the employment of R. & J. Dick, Ltd, presently carrying on the said business at Greenhead, Persons in receipt of parochial relief or old-age pensions may receive the benefits of the Society.
