    Objectives

    In the First Place as regards the said Music Lectureship Fund (First) the said Lectureship on Music in the University of Glasgow shall be called ‘The Cramb Music Lectureship’ and shall continue in force for such time as sufficient accommodation is provided in the said University by the Authorities thereof satisfactory to us as Trustees foresaid and our foresaid but so long only as we as Trustees foresaid and out foresaids and the said University Court or other competent Governing Body may mutually agree or until a new Chair of Music shall be instituted in the said University, called ‘the Cramb Chair of Music’ or by such other name as may be approved by us or our foresaids when the said Lectureship shall come to an end...In the Second Place as regards the said Bursaries Fund (First) outof the Revenue from time to time received from that Fund or any additions that may be made thereto or grants that may be obtained in supplement thereof in so far as not added to the Capital Fund there shall each year be paid a Bursary or Bursaries to a student or students who has or have matriculated and has to have regularly attended for not less than one complete session the Music class or classes that may be conducted in the University of Glasgow...And In The Third Place as regards the Poorer Students’ Fund.
