    Objectives

    The purposes of the Trust shall be:- To provide residential accommodation (at concessionary rents or at no rents all at the Trustees' entire discretion having regard to the economic circumstances of the occupiers) within any part of Scotland, England or Wales for the benefit and residential occupation of actively employed or serving Ministers of the Christian religion, missionaries of any Christian Missionary Society or other Servants or employees of any Christian bodies or organisations, or such Ministers, missionaries, servants or employees who are now retired from such respective employment or service and/or their respective dependants and for the improvement, alteration, renovation, demolition, maintenance and repair of such accommodation and the payment as might be necessary having regard to the economic circumstances of the occupiers of all burdens, local rates or other form of local taxation and accounts for gas, oil, electricity, coal or other supplies and telephone rental charges for such accommodation where these or any of these will not be paid by the occupier thereof from time to time to be used for the foregoing purposes and for the outfitting of such accommodation with suitable items of furniture and appliances as the Trustees might deem fit. (2) To provide financial assistant to the above categories of persons for their personal and family requirements and needs including without prejudice to the foregoing generality provision for holidays as may be brought to the notice of the Trustees and all at the entire discretion of the Trustees. (3) Generally to do all other lawful things as in the opinion of the Trustees that may be incidental or conducive to attainment of the foregoing purposes of the Trust provided that all such ancillary means are directed entirely into promoting the foregoing purposes of the Trust. (4) To raise, hold, manage and expend funds for the aforesaid purposes.
