21ST WEST STAFFORD SCOUT GROUP

We work with children & young people between the ages of 4 to 14 yrs. We use our facilities for meetings and get outdoors for adventurous and community activities. We do fundraising to maintain the building and support activity costs, pay our ground rent and everyday services. We hold summer faye's, raffles, bagpacks and occasional grand draw to supplement our membership fees.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • There has been a change of accounting period recently, so trends may be hard to determine
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
