THE SIR STANLEY SPENCER MEMORIAL TRUST 

Trust is responsible for maintaining and managing an independent art gallery devoted to the work of one of Britain's greatest 20th Century artists Sir Stanley Spencer RA who was born in Cookham and set many of his paintings in the village. The gallery has over 100 paintings and drawings of the artist and is housed in the former Wesley Chapel where he worshipped with his mother.
