THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ART OF CLASSICAL MUSIC AND JAZZ FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WHICH ENABLE STUDENTS, YOUNG GRADUATES AND EMERGING ARTISTS FROM ACROSS THE WORLD TO PURSUE THEIR MUSICAL EDUCATION IN THE UK AND ELSEWHERE IN PREPARATION FOR ENTRY INTO CAREERS AS PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS, IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING THEM WITH PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES.
