Objectives

(1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT INCLUDING ITS WILDLIFE AND WILDLIFE HABITATS BY SUPPORTING RESEARCH AND WILDLIFE BREEDING PROGRAMMES AND BY GRANT FUNDING CONSERVATION PROJECTS.(2) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE CONSERVATION AND PRESERVATION OF ENDANGERED WILDLIFE AND WILDLIFE HABITATS BY:(A) OPERATING AN ACCREDITED ZOO PARK AND PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL DISPLAYS AND RELATED RESOURCES TO ENABLE THE PUBLIC TO LEARN ABOUT ENDANGERED WILDLIFE, THE NATURAL HABITATS OF SUCH WILDLIFE AND ITS CONSERVATION; AND(B) PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING RESEARCH, STUDY, AND TRAINING IN THE CONSERVATION OF ENDANGERED ANIMALS AND PLANTS AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
