THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY AMONGST HOMELESS PEOPLE IN THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:* IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS AND FINDING PATHWAYS FOR PEOPLE OUT OF HOMELESSNESS;* PROVISION OF FOOD, CLOTHING AND MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT;* PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING IN ORDER TO GAIN EMPLOYMENT AND / OR GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME TO MEET THEIR NEEDS.
