    (1)TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE COMMUNITY COUNCIL AREA OF TRELAWNYD AND GWAENYSGOR AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE AREA OF BENEFIT) BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE RESIDENTS, LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES WITH THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE;(2)TO ESTABLISH, OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF, A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE IT (WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH THE LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER ORGANISATION OR INDIVIDUAL) IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS.
