    RODE HALL SILVER BAND 

    Rode Hall Silver Band exists for the purpose of the promotion of, education in and appreciation of brass band music amongst persons of all ages. Through provision of rehearsal, development time and public performance, the skills and training of members is developed whilst engaging with the wider community.

    THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF BRASS BAND MUSIC IN THE NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE AND SOUTH CHESHIRE AREAS, IN PARTICULAR BY: I) EDUCATING AND DEVELOPING PROSPECTIVE AND ESTABLISHED MUSICIANS OF ALL AGES IN THE SKILLS, ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC AS PERFORMED BY TRADITIONAL BRITISH BRASS BANDS; II) EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF BRASS BAND MUSIC WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO MUSIC PRESENTED BY BRITISH BRASS BANDS, THROUGH CONCERTS AND OTHER RELATED ACTIVITIES, KEEPING THE TRADITIONS OF BRASS BANDING IN THE NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE AND SOUTH CHESHIRE AREA.
