Objectives

3.1 For the public benefit to relieve the suffering of dogs in need of care and attention and to promote humane behaviour towards dogs, in particular but not exclusively Schnauzers, by but not limited to:3.1.1 Supporting the provision of appropriate care and treatment to dogs in need of attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment and/or injury (including at low or no charge to owners); 3.1.2 Supporting animal welfare charities and animal rescue centres that rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage, including those who have been saved from puppy farms and other breeding facilities;3.1.3 Educating the public in matters pertaining to responsible pet ownership, animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals, with a particular focus on the practices of puppy farming and the commercial-scale breeding of dogs.3.2 The relief of those in need by providing support to persons who are unable to meet the costs of caring for their dogs due to financial hardship or other disadvantage.
