THE BENJAMIN PAUL FOUNDATION

Our aim is to help and support vulnerable people in our community. Particularly those who are victims of substance and/or alcohol misuse, the homeless or those facing homelessness. We aim to help with practical needs and signpost where necessary to other agencies, helping to promote independent living.

TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF AND SUPPORT VULNERABLE PEOPLE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH A CHRISTIAN ETHOS, IN TEIGNBRIDGE AND TORBAY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN PARTICULAR THOSE WHO ARE VICTIMS OF ALCOHOL AND/OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND DEPENDENCY AND THOSE WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF BECOMING HOMELESS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING SUPPORT, ADVICE, FOOD, CLOTHING, FOOTWEAR, TOILETRIES, SLEEPING BAGS, HELP WITH FINDING TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION AND SIGNPOSTING TO OTHER LOCAL AGENCIES AND BASIC HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND FURNITURE WHEN MOVING ON TO STABLE ACCOMMODATION, ALL WITH THE AIM OF INTEGRATING SUCH PEOPLE INTO SOCIETY AND ENABLING THEM TO GAIN INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS.
