MAGNA SINFONIA

We are a high quality amateur orchestra staging three major concerts each year, often featuring works not undertaken by other orchestras. Most seasons also include at least one other performance plus a workshop weekend. Members benefit by being able to rehearse and perform with other able musicians, whilst the public are able to attend high quality live concerts at an affordable price.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
