AMINA AND AQIB WELFARE TRUST

We aim at organizing frequent events in the UK within our community by presenting the targeted audience in Pakistan who needs our support because of their poverty and need being orphans and widow, who have no one to look after them. This will include a direct monthly scholarship to those in need through a proper accounting recording system to be managed at grass root level locally in Pakistan.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • There have been multiple defaults for filing returns
  • There are only 2 trustees
  • The Board composition appears to be rather static

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Accounts have been filed late on 3 occasions over the last 4 years and the current period appears to have been extended
  • This charity appears to be dormant
