WOMEN'S VOICE

To understand that their experience and the sharing of this knowledge and experience is powerful and can change lives. Physical, well being and cooking workshops will improve health and well being by encouraging activity and enabling women to look after and improve their own mental or physical health and live in good health for longer. They encourage social interaction, help women to overcome isolation and encourage skills development The Shan dress creative workshops will build skills, confidence and social networks bringing women together in a shared creative activity, enabling discussion and the opportunity to express fears, experiences and wishes in a creative and visible fashion. The final product will be exhibited locally in an exhibition organised and curated by the women taking part. Speakers corner workshops will help to build skills and confidence by encouraging and empowering women and girls to acquire the skills and confidence to speak in public. Providing the opportunity for women to acquire new skills and confidence, empowering them with the ability to apply for new jobs and/or return to the workplace. The workshops generally will raise women's aspirations and confidence.
