BIRD

Through one-to-one creative sessions BIRD harnesses the power of creativity for two purposes. 1) As a vehicle to build mentoring relationships with 16-25 year olds and 2) As a way of improving and sustaining wellbeing. Wherever possible we look to introduce our values of Brilliance, Integrity, Relationship and Delight as part of our vision to see 'fully realised lives'.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received modest backing from a grant maker

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • The Board composition appears to be rather static

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Accounts have been filed late on 4 occasions over the last 5 years and the current period appears to have been extended
  • Spending has fallen significantly over the last 5 years relative to the previous period
  • Income has been volatile and on several occasions in recent years less than spending
